^Lot 685 Colt Commander .45 ACP #XE05020

American made series '80 1911 style pistol with firing pin safety chambered in .45 ACP manufactured in Hartford, CT. This is likely a fairly new pistol because the Colt website does not have information regarding this serial number. It features an extended safety, serrated slide stop, checkered push button magazine release, serrated curved skeletonized trigger, smooth extended beavertail grip safety with memory bump, skeletonized hammer with serrated hammer spur, ramped Novak three dot sights, dark checkered hardwood grips with diamond patterns around the screws, smooth front strap, and serrated mainspring housing. The ejection port is lowered and flared. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The original finished retained is approximately 99% with little remarkable to speak of. The wood grips are excellent. The slide action is smooth and crisp. It comes with the factory blue plastic carry case, manual, and two total magazines.
